COVID-19: Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone offer extra talktime, extend validity to provide relief

As the nation is under a 21-day lockdown, many low-wage laborers have to work hard to meet. While some are holding firmly, some have traveled for miles to reach their village because they cannot stop in metro cities without income. In times of these efforts, telecom companies like Reliance Jio, Vodafone, Airtel, and BSNL have come forward to give relief to their customers. The telecom companies have extended the validity of prepaid plans till April 17 as well as credited 10 talk time to the accounts of low-income customers.

This is a great step by telescope as people will not have to worry about the balance of their phones until the lockdown continues. Also, it will help a lot in the form of prepaid packs for people who do not have internet connection and are dependent on shops for mobile recharge.
Continue until a certain date.

Here Vodafone, Airtel and Reliance Jio are doing

Airtel

Bharti Airtel was one of the first telecom companies to offer free benefits to its customers. Airtel has extended the validity of prepaid plans till April 17, 2020 for low-income customers. Airtel has said that it will credit 10 talk time to the accounts of 80 million customers.

Reliance Jio

This move of Airtel was followed by Reliance Jio, which announced free offers to all its customers. Jio announced on Tuesday that they would provide 100 minutes of talk time and 100 text messages to all their users by April 17, 2020. The company also said that customers will be able to receive incoming calls on their Jio numbers even though their current packs have expired legally.
